After Easter, Or, That Was A Big Deal, Right?

The rulers and overlords of all the known world exterminated another criminal. Manyyoung men seem to have thought themselves something special, deluded by the power afforded them by a meagre following, have marched against Rome, or the nearest outpost of the great Empire.

This one was pinned up like the rest.

And the endless rule of the Sons of God seated in the Royal City is blessed by the peaceful setting of the sun.

But this one time, there was this one time the story was rewritten.

After the execution of one young Jewish preacher, his followers began to proclaim that he was not dead. His body was nowhere to be found, and this group of followers even started to live and act as though their Master still lived among them.

This rabble of idealistic youths were not defeated. In fact, they grew from strength to strength.

And the Son of God had a contender to the title.

But a week later, just when the eager eye of the Empire grew irritated by their bold public acts of rebellion, all the excitement ceased.

And there was one Son of God again.

  1. Not a comment on this writing – but as the only way to reach whoever has written on twitter:

The question keeping me awake, this night and apparently every night, is not on of faith but of love. Does God exist? Yes. Am I beloved? Um

1 John 3 v 2: Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Just believe the Word not your feelings – the Word is TRUTH and LIFE your feelings and emotions can lie to you. Put your trust in the TRUTH. Amen YES you are beloved. You were beloved before you knew Him – You are called Beloved.

John 3 v 16 – You were beloved of Him before you knew him – are you in The World – if the answer is YES you were loved by him as a sinner – just think how much more you are loved by him as a Son of God.
